Past-Present, Perfect-Future! | Digital illustration for World of Watches magazine Singapore, August 2010. This was done in response to the brief, which was to create an artist impression of time.

The Art and Science of Shopping at the ION Gallery is a site-specific installation, event and collaborative performance featuring artists Soh Ee Shaun, Ng Ling Ling and Chong Li-Chuan. The show will feature a live drawing and sonic art performance between Ee Shaun and Chuan, as well as installations created from the results of a “mass-crochet” session by staff and students from Republic Polytechnic, and contributions from Vanessa Dora Godfrey (NTU).

Ling's crochet installation, made with the help of 150+ students who participated in crocheting the chains; a statement about the laborious garment production process that goes unnoticed to shoppers.

April 10, 2010: Acrylic on cardboard, variable sizes. Series of typographic installations inspired by the large friendly letters 'Don't Panic' on the cover of the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy written by Douglas Adams.

These were installed around Republic Polytechnic Singapore campus, and also in the offices of some colleagues, to remind ourselves to look at the big picture when faced with the impossible task of finishing any work.
