The Art and Science of Shopping at the ION Gallery is a site-specific installation, event and collaborative performance featuring artists Soh Ee Shaun, Ng Ling Ling and Chong Li-Chuan. The show will feature a live drawing and sonic art performance between Ee Shaun and Chuan, as well as installations created from the results of a “mass-crochet” session by staff and students from Republic Polytechnic, and contributions from Vanessa Dora Godfrey (NTU).

Ling's crochet installation, made with the help of 150+ students who participated in crocheting the chains; a statement about the laborious garment production process that goes unnoticed to shoppers.
